Clarifications On Book Closure Date And Investors' Entitlement To The Company's Dividends
On August 10, 2006, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (the "Company") made an announcement (announcement number 00203) that the book closure date with respect to the entitlement of interim dividends declared by the Company on August 10, 2006 (the "Dividends"), will be on August 28, 2006, 12.00 p.m, Bangkok Thailand Time (the "Books Closure Date").
The Company wishes to clarify that although the Thailand Securities Depository Co., Ltd. ("TSD") determines entitlement to dividends based on shareholders whose names appear in TSD's register as at 12.00 p.m. (Bangkok Time) on the Books Closure Date, the Central Depository (Pte) Limited ("CDP") determines investors' entitlement to dividends based on shareholders whose names appear in CDP's register as at 5.00 p.m. (Singapore Time) on the Books Closure Date. Accordingly, investors who hold shares through the CDP will only be entitled to the Dividends if their names appear in CDP's register as at 5.00 p.m. (Singapore Time) on the Books Closure Date.
Investors should also take note that the symbol "XD" (ex-dividend) will be assigned to the Shares trading on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("SGX-ST") once the market opens for trading on August 24, 2006 and any investors who acquire such Shares on August 24, 2006 and thereafter will not be entitled to the Dividends.

Ltd. were the issue managers, joint global co-ordinators and bookrunners of the Combined Offering and Singapore lead underwriters in respect of 4,888,900,000 shares of the Company pursuant to the prospectus issued by the Company dated 19 May 2006.
